Pictures taken around England today reveal jam-packed beaches and beauty areas as Brits rushed to make the most of the Bank Holiday Monday sunlight.

They consisted of queues of traffic and cars lining the road to Dovestone Reservoir, near Oldham, as households hurried to benefit from the warm weather condition.

Sophie Beachey, who took the photos, stated cars were parked the whole time the road resulting in the popular spot.
