The bodies of two friends were pulled from the sea off the coast of Brighton after a rowboat was spotted drifting in the water.
Emergency services invested nine hours scouring the waters on Monday after an inflatable rowboat was seen wandering out at sea early in the afternoon.
The big search and rescue operation concerned an end after the body of a man was recuperated from the English Channel simply after 5pm on Monday.
He has not yet been determined however he is believed to be connected to the unoccupied green rowboat.
As authorities sought to establish his identity it became apparent that his buddy was likewise missing out on.
Emergency searches advanced Monday evening up until 11 pm and resumed on Tuesday morning at 6am.
Another body was spotted by the coastguard helicopter at 8.45 am on Tuesday.
