Chantelle Atkins ( Jessica Plummer) has set in motion her strategy to leave partner Gray ( Toby-Alexander Smith) in EastEnders, and while she does manage to get away in the beginning, catastrophe later on ensues.
Nevertheless, she soon understood that doing so would be a lot more expensive than she ‘d bargained for, and for that reason looked for employer Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol)– hoping he could assist.
He ultimately agrees to do so, and next week, Chantelle puts plans in location to make an exit, as she packs as much as she can for her ‘household vacation’.
The Taylors get here on her doorstep– all worn holiday outfit– and she’s terrified that such a thing will blow her cover, however she ultimately talks Gray round, and he agrees that she can go on the little trip.
Afterwards, she visits Kheerat, and drops rather the bombshell– revealing that she never ever plans on returning.
The abuser throws something of a spanner in the works when he exposes that he’s sweet-talked her moms and dads into allowing Mia and Mackenzie to remain at house with him.
Chantelle’s world falls apart– knowing that she can no longer make her trip– but as she takes a moment to herself in a seaside cafe, Mitch chooses to cheer her up, and therefore heads to Walford to get her children.
The girl is pleased– that is, until she discovers that Gray has actually come along too.

The Taylors unwind with a film to end the night on Thursday (September 17), however Gray insists that he, Chantelle and the children go back to Walford.
Chantelle is not able to argue, and therefore they triggered– but Mitch spots a flicker of worry in Chantelle’s face.
Back in Walford, Chantelle fearlessly summons up the nerve to inform Gray that she is leaving him once and for all, however she’s uninformed that things will get a lot worse– and eventually have awful effects for her.
