Michael Ball & Alfie Boe begin the festive season in style as their brand-new album Together At Christmas lands directly in at Number 1 on this week’s Authorities Albums Chart, the Authorities Charts Business can validate.

The set’s fourth studio record is their third to reach Number 1, following Together (2016) and Together Once Again (2017). Together At Christmas acquired 33,000 chart sales today, 96%of which were physical sales.

US vocalist Josh Groban gets in at 24 with Consistency, his ninth Leading 40 collection, and Tim Minchin’s Apart Together is brand-new at 27.

Lastly, Jamie Cullum’s The Pianoman At Christmas (31), a 20 th anniversary reissue of Coldplay’s Parachutes (34), and Music Trial & Injury– A Drill Story by Brixton rap artist Loski (39) all land inside today’s Leading 40.
