Huawei and top Chinese AI start-up implicated of structure ‘Uyghur alarm’ facial acknowledgment scanner for govt

Huawei said it was “just a test and it has not seen real-world application. Huawei just supplies general-purpose items for this kind of screening. We do not supply custom-made algorithms or applications.” Megvii declared its systems was not designed to target specific ethnic groups.
