Cops believe the massacre which occurred in Indianapolis, US was a targeted attack carried out by multiple shooters.
A boy was stated to have been shot throughout the violence in the early hours of Sunday, but he endured.
The mass shooting was apparently discovered after cops found the boy having sustained a gunshot injury at about 4am.
More examinations caused a neighboring residential or commercial property where officers were said to have found the bodies of several victims who had been killed.
Reports say that the boy was the only survivor from the shooting and no motive or suspect information has yet been released.
The city’s mayor Joe Hogsett called the attack “an act of depravity” that has “end up being all too common throughout the country”, the Indianapolis Star reports.
He stated: “This morning, several people perpetrated an act of evil in our city. What occurred this morning was not an easy act of gun violence.

Cops Chief Randal Taylor supposedly said it was the biggest largest mass shooting in the city in more than a decade.
He said private investigators now believe it was a targeted occurrence and that there may have been several shooters involved.
He stated: “I’m upset that the perpetrators felt they had the right to devote this senseless act in our community.
” It needs to stop. Our neighborhood does not deserve this.”
Reports state that the attack was among 5 shootings to occur throughout the city in just 5 hours.
