A delivery driver has become a social media sensation after leaving a warning on a doorbell camera about house numbers while dropping off a parcel – and she’s got plenty more safety tips to share
Singing delivery driver gives ‘life saving’ advice to customer
Is your home clearly numbered or does it have a sign showing off the property name?
If the answer is no, you might want to consider finding a way to display your number outside as soon as possible – as it could save your life one day.
This warning comes from a caring Amazon delivery driver from the US who was captured on a doorbell camera explaining why it’s important to have house markers.
The woman was delivering a package to the house Jessica Huseman had just moved into, though the parcel seems to be for the previous tenant, Jennifer.
In a clip shared to TikTok, the Amazon driver approaches the house and puts the delivery down outside.

She can be heard saying in a sing-song voice: “Hello Jennifer, I hope your Monday’s going well. You have no markers on your house that says what number you are.
“And that is hard to find your house my dude and it’s unsafe, honestly. What if you needed medical assistance and the paramedics didn’t know your town well, come on.
“Have a great day!”
Jess captioned the post: “We just moved in and this happened today… she’s not wrong though. Guess I need to get some house numbers.”
And this isn’t the only important piece of safety advice the Amazon worker has to share.
After the post went viral, the delivery driver revealed herself and also joined TikTok.
The 28-year-old is named Kelsey and she has been sharing other safety and crisis prevention tips on her account, where she has amassed thousands of followers in just a few days as people are loving her attitude.
In a follow-up video, she shared another look at the original doorbell clip and explained: “Just one thing that I notice when I walk up to households baby.
“Other things I notice – unclear entrances and exits, what if you need to leave your house or EMS needs to come into your house?
“Thinking about clear pathways, I oftentimes see a lot of bikes, like kids bikes next to the front doors, that scares me.
“I used to work in ResLife and Student Affairs so crisis management and prevention education is essential and literally a part of my soul, so anytime I go out and deliver packages or make any deliveries if I see something, I say something.”
Thousands have taken the time to comment on the videos, with many praising the Amazon worker for helping to ‘save lives’.
One person wrote: “Retired paramedic. She is 100 per cent correct. Protect yourself and get some large numbers on your house and mail box. If it’s out front, spray paint on curb too.”
“This is a person who cares about people, we need more of her,” proclaimed another.
Someone else posted: “Not all heroes wear capes… delivery with a message of safety song. Amazing service!!!
