When it comes to Kate Middleton, we obviously love her for her infectious smile and kind personality but we, and the majority of the world, are obsessed with her effortless style.

Whether it’s for glam gala events or daytime appearances, there is nothing that The Duchess wears that we don’t want to get our hands on.

However, one special factor for which we admire her for is how she is so often seen re-wearing and recycling some of her previous looks and how she makes them look brand new.

We very recently saw Kate step out at Kew Gardens wearing a gorgeous green coat by designer brand Erdem which she originally wore back in 2014.

Back in 2014 we saw Kate and Price William embark on a Royal tour of New Zealand which is where we first saw the incredible emerald coat that immediately became a fan favourite.

So when we saw Kate step out six years later wearing it one again, our lust for it was reignited.

This isn’t the first time Kate has brought back a much-loved item recently, as we saw the 39-year-old re-wear a stunning Zara dress for a trip to London.

The Duchess of Cambridge first wore the monochrome houndstooth print during a visit to Bradford in 2020.

Just as much as Kate loves her go-to designer brands she also champions the UK high street as this chic look was from Zara and cost just £16.

As well as this, we also see the mum-of-three often re-wear one of her best coats for her more off-duty looks.

In May 2021, herself and Prince William embarked on a Royal tour of Scotland as where Kate opted for her stylish khaki Seeland jacket.

This was worn the previous month in April when the couple visited a farm in County Durham where the Duchess wore the traditional coat to combat the cold temperatures.

Her festive-inspired Brora jumper which she is wearing in the right hand side picture above is also something which she wore back in December 2020.

There is no denying Kate is the Queen of coats

Arriving at London Euston Station in December to embark on their royal tour of the British Isles, Kate arrived in a military inspired khaki coat, one again from much loved brand Alexander McQueen.

We had seen the coat before in January 2020 when her and William made a public appearance in Bradford to meet the people of the city.

In November 2020 Kate took questions from the public and answered them in a video call where she wore a gorgeous purple Gucci blouse.

We were so happy to see this gorgeous shirt make a comeback as when Kate first wore it back in 2019 when she visited the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre on March 12, 2019 we immediately fell in love with it.

Kate decided to re-wear her famous engagement blouse ten years later

One item which holds great sentimental value to the Duchess is a cream coloured silk blouse which she originally wore all the way back in 2010 when herself and Prince William posed for their engagement photos.

Proving that she has always been a fan of the UK high street, the garment was from high street brand Whistles.

A week after the couples’ tenth year wedding anniversary, Kate opted to bring the classic blouse back whilst speaking to members of her Hold Still campaign in May 2021.

As well as wardrobe staples, we have also seen Kate bring back some glamorous dresses for certain events.

One being this fantastic white and gold Alexander McQueen gown which was originally wore for a state dinner in Malaysia in 2012.

The gorgeous gown was then brought back for the 2020 BAFTA awards which perfectly suited the theme for the year which was sustainability.

As well as re-wearing designs, we have also seen the Duchess give some of her best looks some design tweaks such as this iconic black floral Alexander McQueen gown.

Kate first wore the dress at the 2017 BAFTA awards and then had capped sleeves added for a charity gala event two years later in order to make it more appropriate for the event.

Now that we’re seeing Kate step out more and more, we can’t wait to see what The Duchess will sport (or recycle) next.
