Key dates for the lawsuit against Prince Andrew have been set for next summer, at the same time as the Queen will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee. It is alleged that the Prince assaulted former sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre on three occasions when she was 17. Prince Andrew strenuously denies the allegations. There is also Harry’s memoir, which is set to be released sometime in 2022.

If Harry and Megan’s Oprah interview is anything to go by, this memoir could condemn the Royal Family massively.

Commenting on the coming months for the monarch, royal expert Daniela Elser said: “There are two ferocious PR storms on the horizon.

“Key dates for the Prince Andrew case, as it wends its way through the American legal system, are now set down for May, June and July next year, smack bang right when his mother will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee.

“Then there’s Harry’s memoir, which is set for release sometime in 2022. What the Sussexes’ Oprah revelations and Harry’s subsequent interviews have demonstrated is that the royal is yet to truly plum the depths of his reservoir of hurt and anger when it comes to his family. The possibility that his book will condemn the royal family and the monarchy even more than we have seen thus far looms large.”

‘Show must go on!’ Royals stepping in for Queen will ensure COP26 is ‘roaring success’

Despite the ‘s absence at COP26 being a “big blow” for the UK Government, a royal expert has stated his belief that the important summit will continue to be a success with other senior members of the  acting on behalf of Her Majesty.

The 95-year-old monarch announced on Tuesday evening that she had “regretfully” decided against travelling to Glasgow for the climate summit following medical advice from her doctors.

Speaking to the Lorraine show, the Daily Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers said: “It was quite interesting because someone I spoke to at the Palace yesterday said that the Queen was very keen that nobody used it as an excuse not to go.

“Of course, we heard her just a couple of weeks ago caught on a microphone after the Welsh Parliament opening sort of lambasting the world leaders who were refusing to sign up. One of those was Australia’s Scott Morrison and he has since confirmed that he will be there.

“It’s a big blow for the government as well, I think they wanted the Royal Family to be front and centre, we’ve heard the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William all united speaking on this big platform of climate change.

“It’s obviously a really important window of opportunity that we’ve got to speak about these issues, however the show must go on and I’m sure it will be a roaring success.”

Meghan Markle pays touching homage to Princess Diana during online book reading

Meghan Markle once again used fashion to make a nod to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana as she read her book online.

The Duchess of Sussex was featured on the Brightly Storytime’s channel on YouTube for a special reading of her children’s book “The Bench” on Wednesday.

Brightly is owned by Meghan and Harry’s publisher Penguin Random House and aims to help parents encourage children to read through videos on YouTube.

Appearing in a sunny garden, Meghan was wearing a particular accessory that pays homage to Prince Harry’s mum – Lady Diana.

The watch she chose to wear was a Cartier Tank Française and used to adorn the Princess of Wales’ wrist.

Designed by Louis Cartier in 1916, it has been in fashion ever since and is still considered one of the most desired watches worldwide.

Sarah Buck, a spokesperson from H&T, told Express.co.uk: “This iconic watch, previously owned by Princess Diana, is the 18-carat yellow gold version and because of the age of the watch, is probably a mechanical movement.

Prince William’s ‘major regret’ in Prince Harry feud

Prince William has a “major regret” around the conversation he had with Prince Harry that led to their fallout, according to a royal expert.

William and Harry’s brotherly relationship has been a very distant one of late, notably after the Sussexes abandoned Royal duties and moved to California.

The pair had a very public fallout, and at one point they “weren’t even talking”, royal expert Katie Nicholl told the Real Royalty’s 2021 documentary ‘Kate: A Young Queen In Waiting’.

She explained: “William probably does have a major regret around the conversation that he had with his brother around the time when Harry and Meghan got engaged, when William sat down with Harry and urged him to take his time, not to rush into anything.

“What was intended as well-meant brotherly advice didn’t go down well with Harry at all.

“Harry felt that he didn’t have his brother’s support.”

But eagle-eyed Royal fans spotted startling similarities between the Duchess of Sussex’s look and two other members of the Royal family.

“They seem so desperate to control the narrative that they can’t risk anyone else influencing it – but this will simply cause more damage to them in the future, when their children grow up with no family around them.”

Queen’s commitment to duty at 95 put younger royals to ‘absolute shame’

Her Majesty’s tireless commitment to duties and work “put the rest of her family to absolute shame”, according to a royal commentator.

The Queen has been ordered to slow down her packed schedule by doctors.

This move, which resulted in the 95-year-old monarch pulling out from two important in-person visits, came after the monarch completed more than a dozen face-to-face and virtual engagements in less than three weeks.

The Daily Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers wrote: “The Queen’s hectic schedule of late has, in all honesty, put the rest of her family, especially those less than half her age, to absolute shame.

“Relentless doesn’t even cover it.”

The 95-year-old monarch has agreed to slow down with her work to be in “tip-top shape” moving forward and to return to delivering on her lifelong commitment to the people, a royal commentator said.

Robert Hardman has praised the Queen for her commitment to royal duties, saying that her job is “life-affirming” to her.

Her Majesty had to cancel her appearance at COP26 on medical advice but she is expected to still deliver a video speech to welcome attendees.

Mr Hardman said: “She will be sad that she can’t be there but I do think she wants to keep herself in absolute tip-top shape for what is the most sacred date in her diary every year, which is Remembrance Sunday.

“It’s only a little over two weeks away – November the 14.

“She will be determined to be at the Cenotaph. I’m sure is uppermost in her mind.”

Diana often chatted with servants after meals

In the new biopic about William and Harry’s mother, Spencer, Diana is shown to be warm and kind towards the servants.

Former royal chef Darren Mcgrady stated this is an accurate representation of Diana, who he says often visited the servants after meals.

He said: “I was always there, so sometimes she’d come in and vent about things she wasn’t happy with.

“Other times I’d see her just burst into tears and it was like, ‘What do I say? What do I do?’

“Other times she told a dirty, risqué joke and you think, ‘I can’t believe Princess Diana just said that!’”

Harry urged to reconsider timing of memoir release

Prince Harry has been urged by a former royal butler to reconsider the timing of his memoir release as it coincides with his grandmother’s Platinum Jubilee.

Grant Harrold told Express.co.uk: “It’s not the best of timing, I’m sure we all know that this celebration was coming up.

“We didn’t know maybe when it was all planned, it is possible that he didn’t know there was going to be Bank Holidays and things, but I’m going by historically, you’d have looked at the dates and worked it out.

“So it does seem really strange timing and I would have thought that maybe they would have delayed it personally.”

Prince Charles told to ‘hide’ by royal author after Harry’s memoir published

A royal author has suggested that Prince Charles should ‘hide’ when Harry’s memoir is released next year as he believes the prince’s father will be in the firing line.

During an interview with Oprah last year Harry accused Prince Charles of avoiding his calls and says his father cut him off financially.

Andrew Morton, who wrote a book on Princess Diana told the Royally Us podcast: ”

If I was Prince Charles, I’d be looking for a pile of coats to hide under.

“Because I think that the book that’s going to come out next year is written by someone who spends a lot of time investigating father-son relationships because he ghost-wrote a book on Andre Agassi, who had a difficult relationship with his father.

“So I think we’re going to see Charles once more in the firing line.

“So if I was Prince Charles, I’d be looking for a hard hat and a flak jacket.”

Prince Andrew’s lawyer asks judge to keep 2009 agreement sealed

Prince Andrew’s lawyer has reportedly asked a judge to keep a 2009 legal agreement sealed.

The request was made in court papers in Manhattan federal court, where the US district judge Lewis A Kaplan is presiding over an August lawsuit filed on behalf of Virginia Giuffre.

Attorney Andrew Brettler, who is representing the prince, has called the lawsuit ‘baseless’ and is preparing written arguments to ask that the lawsuit be dismissed.
